As near as I can tell without going back to look over all the versions: the Frank Lee Benedict translation which was the one whose chapter titles I wrote up first for the numbering starts Part III: In Vendée a few chapters from now, with "Plusquam Civilia Bella." The A.L. Brut translation and the French original started Part III right before what we had already termed 2.4.1, "Les forêts"/"The Forests." OOPS. I made a chart of the chapters, here, for anyone who wants to see where the discrepancies are (highlighted yellow).

Anyone have a strong opinion on sticking with what we already had versus renumbering ourselves to be in the 3.1.xs now?

The T.Nelson edition has it as 2.4.X all the way through Brittany the Rebel (2.4.7). And then to Part Third, In Vendee, with Plusquam Civilia Bella. I honestly don't know what to do about this! How many darn numbering setups are there here?:P And what should we use when labeling discussion posts from here on in?

Hmm. I've gone with the 3.1.x approach, myself (thematically, this section about La Vendée rather than Paris, so I think it makes sense). But I'd be happy to renumber, if we get a consensus.

As far as the next few sections go, I don't think we need seven days to do "A Provincial Bastille," but it'd be on the longer side for a one-day chapter. I'd suggest just splitting it up into two or three days instead, but that's probably a recipe for chaos at this rate.

"The Massacre of Saint Bartholomew" should probably be one (untitled) subchapter at a time (as it is in both English versions, you didn't mark this but just for reference).

You've got the original (Hugo/French) numbering in the spreadsheet, Gen- I vote we just stick to that? It seems to make the most sense, given the lack of consensus in translations.
